国際生態学センターは、持続的発展が可能な社会の実現に向けて、地域生態系の状況把握を行い、地域環境の修復から地球環境の再生・創造を目指し、積極的に調査・研究に取り組むとともに、人材育成や様々な交流事業などを推進します。
Aiming to realize a sustainably developing society through ecological study, IGES-JISE conducts practical research toward restoring and improving the environment at regional and global level, offers environment-related training programs, and collects and provides environmental information. IGES-JISE will implement the research projects and hands-on activities with the aim to contribute to the conservation and restoration of regional and global ecosystems.
